Spreadin the LOVE

YAY Dollar Store! I picked up packs of paper doily hearts at one of my favorite (though secretly dreaded...see a post WAAAAY back) stores. The Littles had SO much fun projecting this morning. Since we're going to miss much of the Valentine's celebration (with an awesome Woog Robot Party and having just returned from Hawaii), we thought we'd better enjoy the LOVE while we can.
This was the maiden stamp voyage- the Littles LOVED stamping, the table, not so much. Whatev... the permanent ink will serve to remind me how lovely this morning was...
In case we miss you, Happy Valentines's Day from the HouliGANNs <3

Little Headbands of LOVE

The girls needed a look, so I whipped one up the other morning... Ever actually wore hers for a record number of seconds. Ruby, on the other hand, sported hers for the rest of the day.
Such sweet Little Muses <3

Ever says, "Taint Burr Haus" (Paint Bird House)

 Little She-Lovey's "taint mesh"
 Deep in concentration
Painting isn't fun unless it gets in all the cracks

Baby (not so much) He-Little with his new haircut and a chubby paw
The Little Pups LOVE "tainting," or "working the paint..."
I love keeping their wonderful works of art <3

Pretty Little Things

Because I don't have enough to do, I though it high time we had another crafty adventure.
The Littles were SO over egg cartons (infused with packing nightmare sarcasm, folks) so we've moved upward and onward to toilet paper rolls!

Here are their cute little toilet paper roll crown creations-

His princely look complete with pink heart wand and cupcake cape.
 Perched upon her throne.
 Dapper Little Prince.
Ordering her subjects to do her bidding (and fetch her a snack).
 Conferencing in royal style.
Fun Little project...

To Clarify...

A few intrepid, detail-oriented folk have inquired..."What's up with Woog's bangs?"
The answer-
Yes, I did cut them and NO, I shan't do it again.
Sorry Woog, Love Mom.

A Merry Gwama Christmas and Meghan Turns 29...Again.

Our delayed Christmas and early Meghan's 30th Birthday was celebrated this evening...Mom kept her decorations up, her tree lit and the children happy with toys (the adults happy with food).

The Menu:
Turkey
Red Bean and Rice Chili (my very favorite item of the evening)
Artichoke and Olive Orzo (took second)
Banana Bread
Corn Bread
Vegetable Soup (actually this tied for first...it was GOOD)
Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars
Butter Cake with Strawberries and Whipped Cream
Chocolate Truffles

We're still full.

 Gwama and Scoobs
 The older Hellion
 Meaner
 Little Miss
 Sugar
Her Highness...seriously. Gwama made this sweet little cape for her out of red fur. She got a caboodle filled with jewelry and matching crowns. She was in her element this evening.
 Showing off her earrings "rings"
 We know, we know.
Meghan's gift, a super stylish train case.
Only YOU can prevent weird guys from wearing Mardi Gras masks.
 Purple mask POWER

This picture took SO much effort...
but this one was relatively easy to capture
 and this...
 and this too.
Meet your demise little chocolate truffle.
 Flower children
Ever ate all the green olives...an entire bowl. She gave one to Auntie, but decided she wanted it back right away. Uncle Jon said, "she's gonna make some olive loaf for you later." Gross man.

And on that note, Merry After Christmas and Happy Early Birthday Meghan!

Snow Day Turned Snow Week

Seriously icy weather kept the kids home from school for a week (luck-E)... They hung out at Houligann Manor.
The balloons are Woog's creative touch- I like it cause it keeps him from careening into the walls.
 Sharing secrets.
 Ear.
Two Hellions are better than one...
A rare moment of rest for The Woog. He spent 18 seconds enjoying his new Thomas tag book and shortly after crafted a launching device from the rocking chair he was sitting in.

Danger Danger...Canned Bot Sneak Peak

Kovi is a lucky little robot... He is celebrating two birthdays, one in Chico upon return from Hawaii and the second once we come back home. Papa Fred is our Chico Robot Party Robot Maker... he was looking for a little inspiration. I whipped these together for Woog's South Carolina Robot Party.
They were fun to make and especially easy!!

Remember that weird movie District 9 (minus the party hat)?
He works at the Prius factory and recycles his emissions.
I like this little guy, but his mouth creeps me out a little. I hope it doesn't spook the Littles at Woog's party.
I HEART my Motherboard...Don't we all?
 I bet he's a great swimmer!
 Pinocchio-esque
 With ears AND earrings!
I think the Baby Bot has his mother's eyes.
Glammed Canned Bots.
