Birchwood Art Show

My most prized helper... Meghan is a born saleswoman, "And how about a matching hair puff to go with those wings? A great price at ONLY $3!" Thanks Meg, you wear that tutu well.

The tiniest helper... Ever was the perfect model, minus this picture when she refused to turn around.

Our half-man display and free tattoos for the kiddies (and a few rockin Moms).

We used Scrabble letters for placards- a big hit! Reusable too!

An unhappy fairy princess...

Wait! Happy again!

Ever on her self-made "parps" (parks = slides)

We were situated on Lake Oolenoy... a gorjew view, but stinking HOT.

Table Rock loomed overhead. Very pretty.

Our launch went swimmingly, minus any actual swimming- though the temperatures certainly provided the desire. Parked neatly at the Table Rock State Park, the art show was semi-exclusive and not necessarily well advertised. Nonetheless, more than half of the fluffy tutus, hair puffs and wings were sold! Hooray!

Feedback was exceedinly positive- which, for a new business, is a feeling I liken to mint chocolate chip Ben & Jerry's.

I am grateful to all my helpers... Meghan and Ruby for slaving away under the intense heat, eye-stinging sweat and all. Big Daddy for constructing the fabu tutu holders, for hauling and rehauling, for managing my madness. To Mama for your expert sewing skills and for fixing the boob-stabbing, needle-puking sewing machine. To Kovi and Ever for your natural beauty and extreme tutu-sporting perfection. To the Stineharts for A) making an appearance to our little show and B) secretly being one of the major driving forces in creating this little endeavor.
I love all of you.
Thanks :)
