Hawaii By Way of Two Loud Littles Part 1

Oh Hawaii... you tempt us with your islandy allure. Your voice, a mixture of crashing seas and shirtless ukulele players beckon like a cool sip of water after a hike to the top of Diamond Head. We oft find ourselves longing for mai tais among other mai tai longers and think, yes, this is worth every minute of a 12 hour screamy, kicky, in-flight tantrum.
Please cease your call, sweet, pineappley island less we have to check our children as baggage.

This is our 5th time to the Hawaiian Islands, though a first for Oahu. We stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, a mega-complex made up of 22 perfectly landscaped acres. Our room was nicely appointed, one balcony overlooked the ocean and marina and the other, over the nightly luau. Kovi's favorite part, "I need my fire dancers, Mom."
The orchid made prettier, thanks to the perfect face upon which it rests.
 Sweetly smiling...post flight.
His first zen moment while on island.
An evening walk after our arrival. Waikiki Beach is to our right, the Village to our left, the Marina behind us.
