They paraded, single-file into the gym, smiles plastered on tiny faces. And thought they weren't more than 4 feet tall, their pride and brilliance made them giants.
The room, filled with the love of excited parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents and the like, bubbled over with giddiness...
Then, one by one, each little kindergartener made their way on stage to be presented with a certificate of completion. It was hard to keep from crying.
We're so proud of Ruby Scoobit. She has blossomed during this first year of school. Her smile (and occasionally her attitude) abounds, as it always has, but now with a kind of big-kidedness that is bittersweet. We look forward to many more trips across the graduating threshold- always cheering her on, forever her biggest fans!
We love you Ruby. Congratualtions class of 2021!
