June began as lovely as it is sure to end...with loved ones visiting. This go-around my baby brother Shane stopped in to grace us with his catching smile and hilarity.
Shane flew in to Chicago to help our step-father move the rest of Mom's fabric and cookbooks down to the new homebase in SC. A long drive and several gas station burritos later, they arrived.

The rest of his visit was a mix of family fun and adventure. A swim in gorgeous Lake Keowee, an evening stroll through downtown Greeville, BBQs and a hunt for the perfect pair of Aviator sunglasses (alas, they were found!).
We dropped Shane at the airport this morning. And though we are sad to see him go, I know we'll be together again soon. Having Shane visit is always our pleasure. See you soon Brother!
