Greenville Zoo plays host to a fun-filled event rife with spooky (but not too spooky) fun. For a couple of evenings near Halloween, the sweet little zoo transforms into a ghostly good time for wees of all ages. This year it was packed!

Laying in wait...our Little Dragons perched on the tailgate ready for an evening of fire-breathing fun. Ever refused to wear her dragon hood, while Woog (in an unusual attempt at cooperation) agreed to wear his- at least temporarily.

The dragons grow restless... Daddy is still adapting to the new camera and for a good 25 pictures or better, cut the heads off of one or more subjects. Here's the best of that series. Better luck next time Daddy.

The tail...for certain the best part of these handmade-by-GwaMa costumes. Seriously exaggerated and completely adorable, the babies were the talk of the zoo.

We'd be lost without our good 'ol wagon. It's so strong it can even tote two dragons!

Ever is shouting, "PUM...PUM," while Woog tells her to hush.

Perched.

Tails are FUN, she thinks just after whacking her brother in the back of the head.

Most of the animals were asleep (or at least pretending)...but not the goats. These billies were hoping for a rogue batman cape or Diego backpack.

We're nearing the end of the zoo journey. It shows. Most of the subjects in the picture look pretty tired...all but that tail- it's raring to go!

The we-don't-use-our-tails-to-slap-each-other-in-the-face talk.

The I'm-not-listening-to-a-word-you're-saying aftermath.
